Stay Play Eat Shop!; Stay; not HF Bolivar;

For those that want to be close to everything, in Lower Town on High Street, there is a vacation rental Mountainside Lodge, the Stonehouse B&B, and The Town's Inn (which also has a restaurant).

If you prefer to be coddled a bit, there are more than half a dozen B&Bs to choose from on Camp Hill, Upper Town, and Bolivar - the Angler's Inn, Between the Rivers, Camp Hill B&B, Laurel Lodge, Ledge House, Jackson Rose (was Stonewall Jackson's headquarters), and West Ridge Hollow.

For families and those that need some space, or for extended stays, there are more than half a dozen vacation rentals in Harpers Ferry and Bolivar: the Armory Quarters, Butler Burrell House, Canal House Cottage, Moonshine Cottage, Two Rivers Guest House, and the Peggy Dye House. Just outside of town near River Riders are the Adventure Inn and Battlefields Inn.

Families, of course, could also stay at one of a number of hotels/motels in the area. The Econo Lodge and the Quality Hotel Conference Center are located in Harpers Ferry/Bolivar. The Quality Hotel has both a restaurant and a tavern/grill. And down the road in Charles Town near the racetrack and casino is the Inn at Charles Town. And in Shepherdstown is the elegant Bavarian Inn which also can serve you some authentic Bavarian cuisine.

If you are a hiker or biker, please consider the Teahorse B&B/Hostel in Bolivar and the HI-Harpers Ferry Hostel located just off the C&O Canal Towpath.

For the camping types there are several places to consider. The Harpers Ferry KOA Campground is located next to the Harpers Ferry Park Visitors Center on Cavalier Heights and also has spots for those of you that motor around in RVs. On the rivers are primitive campgrounds including Camping on the 'Doah and 'Mac, Harpers Ferry Campground, and the Brunswick Family Campground (down the river a few miles).
